Objectives:
This Bereavement Seminar is designed to explore various aspects of loss, grief, bereavement and mourning.  It will describe the different types of grief as well as physical, emotional, behavioral/cognitive, social and spiritual symptoms of grief.  Also, it will  assist in identifying strategies to help people who are grieving as it reviews components to comprehensive assessment, various models of  grief, and necessary skills for working with bereavement clients.  Finally, a general overview of guidelines and services that are typically offered will be discussed and will     highlight valuable resources that will assist with providing a successful bereavement program.

Bereavement Seminar Brochure

The cost for this all day seminar is $150.00 for members & $175.00 for non-members.
The cost for basic training only or the advanced training only is $75.00 for members and $100.00 for non-members.
No late fee.
There are no refunds, however substitutions are welcome.
This  seminar provides 6.5 Nursing CE hours.
This seminar provides 6.5 Social Worker CE hours.

Upon completion of this course each attendee will be required to complete an evaluation. Each participant will then receive a certificate. Each attendee must complete the entire course to receive CE credits. Certificates will be distributed to attendees upon signing out of the seminar.
