This registration link is for Pre-Conference attendance only! To register for the 2021 Midwest Regional Conference you must complete the conference registration link. The Pre-Conference sessions will be held Monday morning and can be attended with conference or individually. If you do not register for the Pre-Conference you will not be able to attend without registering onsite. All registrations are checked at the door of the sessions.

Members – Please use your Federal Medicare Number when registering. All registrations will be done online.
Registrations are not refundable, but substitutions are welcome.
The Pre-conference is NOT included in the conference registration. Conference registration has a separate registration form.
If you do not register for the conference and only register for pre-conference, there will be a $10.00 additional charge for CE hours if you wish to receive them.
Educational material will be placed on the website prior to the seminar for download.
The DHSS Pre-Conference is eligible for 2.0 hours.
The Palliative Pre-Conference is eligible for 3.0 hours.

DHSS Bureau Update Pre-conference – ,MO DHSS Hospice Staff
In this session, come join the Bureau of Home Care and Rehabilitative Standards as they help you explore ways to get hits, and score runs so that patients receive quality care according to the regulations. There will be a review of the new federal hospice regulations to include the initiation of Civil Money Penalties. You will learn of the top 5 Conditions or Participation cited at Missouri agencies over the past year, sharing of Missouri statistics, and looking at hot topics and trends over the past year will be included. The new revised Long Term Care and Hospice Coordinated Task Plan tool will be rolled out to the providers and there will be time for questions and answers.
Palliative Care Pre-Conference – Neuro Palliative Care, Elyse Everett, MD
In this session, Neurodegenerative diseases across the spectrum will be discussed. Other discussion will include the important considerations for these diseases in palliative care and hospice. This session will also feature other tips & tricks of neurologic disease management such as seizures, neurologic meds on hospice, and more..

This conference will make available continuing education credits as listed below. Certificates will be issued after the successful completion of sessions and evaluations are completed. Certificates will be mailed to the address given on the evaluation form with credit hours documented. NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATORS: MHPCA is currently seeking CE approval
SOCIAL WORKERS: MHPCA, #1359, is an approved provider for social work, continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.asbw.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. MHPCA maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period 02/28/2020 to 02/28/2023. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval for continuing education credits. Social workers participating in this course will receive up to twelve (10) continuing education clock hours.
CHAPLAINS, VOLUNTEER COORDINATORS, DIETICIANS, PHYSICAL THERAPISTS AND OTHER DISCIPLINES: Upon completion of the conference attendance and evaluation form a Certificate of Successful Completion will be provided.
